Frequently Asked Questions

How do I invite friends to play?

Create a game from the home screen — you'll see a room code in the top right. Tap it to copy an invite message and share it with friends. They open Bones, tap Join Game, and enter the code.

How many players can join a game?

Bones supports 2 to 4 players. You can fill empty slots with AI bots while waiting for friends to join.

What are the rules for All Fives?

All Fives (also called Muggins) is played with a double-six set. Score points whenever the open ends of the board total a multiple of 5. The first double played becomes the spinner and can branch in four directions. First player to 150 points wins.

What happens if I lose connection during a game?

If you disconnect, a bot will cover your turns for up to 3 minutes. If you reconnect within that time, you'll rejoin the game automatically. After 3 minutes you'll be removed from the session.

The app is stuck or not responding — what do I do?

Force close the app and reopen it. If the issue persists, leave the current game and start a new one. If you continue to experience problems, please contact us at support@playbones.app.

Is Bones free?

Yes — Bones is completely free to play with no ads and no in-app purchases required to enjoy the full game.

What is the 30-second timer?

Each player has 30 seconds to make their move. If time runs out, the game will automatically play a move for you. This keeps games moving at a good pace.

How do I report a bug?

Email us at support@playbones.app with a description of what happened. Screenshots or screen recordings are very helpful.
