You'll be emailing me.

No ticket system, no bot. Tell me what happened and which app, and I'll reply — usually the same day, at worst a couple.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Bones scored a hand differently than I expected

Send me the hand — there's a "copy board state" button in the match menu. If Bones is wrong I'll fix it and credit you in the release notes.

Can I play Bones without an internet connection?

Yes — single-player is fully offline. Online matches obviously need a connection, and will resume when you get one back.

When is Lume out?

No date yet. It ships when the CarPlay widget is right — leave your email on the Lume page and you'll hear once.

Does chalk rename screenshots I already have?

By default it cleans up new screenshots as you take them. It won't touch your existing files unless you ask it to.

What's free, and what's the $4.99 unlock?

Free keeps every screenshot clean and safe — auto-rename to your pattern, residual metadata stripped, with an undo net. The one-time $4.99 unlock makes the names smart: it reads what's on screen (on-device OCR) or the app that made it, files shots into folders, and can convert/compress. Privacy is free; convenience is what you pay for.

Does callm mute every microphone?

It mutes the built-in mic and most external mics, system-wide — every app at once, not just your video call. A few third-party audio devices manage their own mute and can't be overridden.

Can callm turn my camera off too?

No — macOS has no API for that, so callm won't claim it. It handles the microphone and silences notifications during Call Mode, then reverts on its own when the meeting ends.

Does Blanck upload my photos to read them?

No. Every read, strip and edit happens on your iPhone. The one feature that ever reaches out is "Look up this place," which sends only a coordinate — never the photo — to Apple Maps, and only when you tap it.

Does stripping metadata re-compress my photo?

No. Blanck cleans the file without re-encoding the image, so the pixels stay exactly as they were. Viewing everything is free; unlimited stripping, selective removal and batch are the one-time Pro unlock.

Can I actually lose my streak?

A slip is a loosened stitch, not a cut. Grace days, pauses and weekend skips are generous by default, and Skein even asks whether a break was really a break before it counts — so a bad day is recoverable, never "streak lost forever."

Can Skein see which apps I limit?

No. iOS hands it anonymous tokens, never app names or icons — it literally can't tell which apps you use, and there's no account, no server, no tracking.

Is Skein a subscription?

Yes — an annual plan (with a discounted student rate), or a one-time Lifetime purchase if you'd rather never renew. There's a 7-day free trial, and the stakes are always cosmetic, never real money. Billing and cancellation run through your Apple ID; see the terms.

Do you have my data?

Almost certainly not. Each app keeps its data on your device — read the privacy page for the app you're using.
